UrbanPlan was launched in India in April 2025, beginning with three successful pilot workshops in Delhi. Since then, the program has introduced corporate professionals to a hands-on, team-based experience that brings the complexities of urban development into focus through a practical, engaging challenge.

At the core of the program is a simulated Request for Proposal, where every decision matters and every role influences the outcome. Participants step into the shoes of key stakeholders from finance and planning to sustainability. They learn not only the responsibilities of their own role, but also the perspectives and priorities others bring to the table.

Through the course of the workshop, teams must work together to meet the demands of the RFP while developing a shared vision for the site. What makes the experience especially memorable is the use of LEGO models, which help turn ideas into something visible and tangible. This adds an element of creativity and energy that makes collaboration feel natural and real.
